Merry Christmas!!!!

Well Christmas this year was def. different than all the others!! More gifts for baby and less for us...but I wouldn't have it any other way!! 23 weeks and counting...im getting bigger by the day!

23 1/2 weeks

Mark and I took a trip to MD to his parents house the weekend of the 17th. Justin and Anna were visiting from MI and we wanted to go there so they could all be together! I knew his mom would love that! The only person missing was Mark's twin Michael, he lives in FL this time of year. We were really excited to see Mark's sis Maile, who just got engaged to her BF Archie! Her ring is beautiful and it was so fun talking wedding again! We can not wait for theirs...9/10/2011! They may have a little cute flowergirl ;) LOL


It was a great weekend just hanging out with family, playing games and drinking (they were)! We exchanged gifts Sat night and we got great gifts for the baby! Picture frames, outfits, playmat and lots more! This little girl is so loved already!! I can not wait for next Christmas!!


We headed home on Sunday around noon and went straight to the DiLullo Christmas party at my Uncle Ernies house. Everyone was there and it was a great time! When us DiLullo's get together...watch out! haha Uncle Art bought me canoli's...OMG so good! Just what the doctor ordered :)

Dec 25th- Yay Christmas is here!!! Mark surprised me with this beautiful necklace...mother and child...diamond is also the Baby's birthstone! Love him so much!

The picture is hard to see but its the best gift ever!!!


Christmas Eve we went to my parents house and had dinner. Mom made some fishes but not all 7 this year since she is really the only one that eats them! haha I had fish sticks!! :) 


Christmas morning we went back to moms around 9am to walk in to the smell of bacon, sausage, eggs, scrapple and much more! Dad was already hard at work making his great breakfast!!


I think the best Christmas present to mom and Mark was feeling the baby move! I feel her all the time but its hard for anyone else to feel...not today! She was all over and so excited!!! She knew it was Christmas and I was about to feed her a great meal!!! haha Being 24 weeks now they say the next 3 weeks she will double in size...but not me!!!! That is when i think everyone will really be able to see and feel her!!! My next dct appt is the 30th! Cant wait to hear her again!!!


Its present time!!!!! Mom and Dad got us some great outfits for the baby...too bad noone took my camera to take pics! This little girl already has more clothes than Mark does...not me yet! haha I took some the next day!



We went home to get showered and changed and headed back to moms around 230. Aunt Kimmy, ReRe, Kevin and Michael were already there! The best words i heard them say were "You look much smaller in person!" THANK YOU! This is why i hate pics...they make me look huge!! haha It was so good seeing everyone, its been awhile!


It was present time and more gifts for this already spoiled princess....love it! She is going to be one stylin little girl!!!

Well it was another GREAT Christmas and we couldn't be happier!!! Next year it will be totally different and we are ready for it!!!! We are going to start doing the baby's room soon and then it will really hit me that we will be parents!!! OMG! I love saying that!

Thank you to everyone who bought our Little Princess a Christmas gift! She is very happy, i can feel her rolling around in joy!!! Love you all!!!!

22 weeks and Tree Hunting!

I can not believe its almost Christmas! I love this time of year, but the cold i can do without! Instead of going to Varners this year for our tree, we went to Linvilla. We usually go the weekend after Thanksgiving for our tree but so much going on this year we couldn't. Plus it is very pricey there! So anyways, we went and let me tell you...it was a trip in itself. The hills and the trees were everywhere...walking around for an hour and a half looking for trees was nuts! I was huffing and puffing going up and down these hills. Last time going there! We did find our perfect tree in the end!! Of course i had to get my caramel apple! Yummy...it was sooo good!!

Just think this time next year we will have a little one with us...its so hard to picture my life being a mom! Waiting for her to come is going to be so hard! When it comes closer to my due date, im going to be so anxious! 22 weeks already have flown by, i kind of hope the rest do too. When i went to the dct last i only have 2 more 4 week appt's then after that i go every 2 weeks! Guess we really need to start thinking of names!

20 weeks

Well as the weeks go by the bigger the belly gets! I love it though! I am amazed that there is a little girl growing inside of me!! I can not wait to meet her and see who she looks like!

I went to the doctor this week and everything is great! When she went to hear the heartbeat we couldn't find her. We heard her kicking and I felt her...well she was all over the place. We tracked her down allll the way under the belly button! I have a feeling she is going to give us a run for the money! Very active already!

It is so hard not to buy clothes for her! Registering for all the girly stuff was so much fun. I even bought a few outifts that were on sale. I know i am going to be in trouble with shopping. No more for myself...its all for her! I am going to have the best dressed baby on the block! haha

We already bought her First Girl Patriots Outfit! Isnt't it the cutest!!! I am sure we will have some Phillies and Flyers stuff from the family...its all welcome! Until she can choose on her own, she loves all teams! haha

 20 weeks

IT'S A GIRL!!!!

We went to the ultrasound on Tuesday morning and could not wait to find out the sex. I went to bed extra early the night before just so the next day would come sooner!

The tech was checking out the baby and everything is healthy and right on track. She weighs around 10 oz, around the size of a soda can! My dad said he can never drink soda the same again! haha

We are so happy to find out it was a girl!!!! I teared up a little! I had the tech check twice and yup...nothing was hanging!!!!

We went to finish registering tonight and that was so much fun! Its going to be such a cute room!! Above is the ultrasound...the 2nd two is shes looking at you! Kinda freaky but so cool!!!

Now its time to pick out a name....this could be tough!!!! Any suggestions?

Baby Fun and Baby Movement!

Well going on my 19th week I figured we should go and look for nursery furniture. Mark and I took a trip to Babys R Us last night and put the furniture on layaway! We like the lighter wood color, cherry, maybe! It is very neutral and we love the bed because it will turn into a toddler bed and full size bed! We are so lucky my mom offered to buy our baby it's crib! It is a very nice gesture!
Once we find out the sex of the baby we will be going back to register for all the bedding and gender specific things! We can not wait for that!

Last night as I was laying on the couch i usually have my hands on my belly...with a dog sleeping next to me! :) Well I was concentrating and i felt our baby move for the first time!!! It was incredible! I ran over to Mark but he couldn't feel it. I guess only i can feel it now!
As i sit here typing I can feel it moving! I cant describe the feeling...like a ripple effect almost! I have been waiting so long to feel the baby that now it feels real!!! We are more excited than ever to find out what it is now!!!!

18 weeks

Starting my 18th week and can't feel the baby yet! Its normal not to fell them move until later but i wish i could! I know the first time i feel him or her kick or move will be amazing!

I know it may be early but we went to the store today to return some things and decided to get stuff for the baby bathroom. I wanted neutral this way we can use it for more than one child. What do ya think? Cute huh! Can't go wrong with monkeys :)

17 weeks and earlier

Well I know I am starting this a little late but I figured it was the best way for everyone to be involved no matter where you live!

This week I am 17 weeks and feeling great! My previous weeks of pregnancy have also been smooth sailing. We had our first ultrasound at 11 weeks and it was testing for down syndrome. At the appt. the baby was still for most of the time but when the tech made my belly move, so did the baby. It was doing flips and showing us its behind and even waved to us! It was amazing! I went back 4 weeks later for the 2nd part of the down syndrome test and it was just a tube of blood drawn. All results came back and everything is A OK! The chances for me are 1 and 1000. Very good news!

My last appt was on Nov 2nd and my Dad came with me since Mark couldn't get out of work. It was a routine appointment, i go every 4 weeks. They check blood pressure, urine and listen to the heartbeat. It was neat to see my Dads smiling face when the baby was kicking and you could hear the heartbeat! Just to think there is someone really growing inside of me!

I still look in the mirror everyday and think....WOW....it still hasn't hit me yet! I am going to be a mom and Mark is going to be a Dad!
